I bought a step up/step down transformer from 110220volts.com, and it showed up damaged. I asked for a return authorization and had to cover the return shipping costs myself. They promised me store credit, but for months now, my efforts to use it have been completely ignored. My emails never get a response, and the customer service rep is always 'out' when I try to call. Sadly, I can't recommend these folks, and I'm likely out $280. Once they get your cash, it seems like they don't care about keeping you satisfied. I'm gonna keep pushing to sort this out, but I ain't holding my breath. I'll update if they actually follow through. Just wanted to give a heads-up to others thinking about using this company for anything important.

Edit on 12/28/2022: Not sure if my review did the trick, but shortly after posting it, I got a notice from UPS saying I was getting a package from 110220volts.com. I did receive it yesterday, and the items I asked for in exchange for the damaged transformer finally arrived! Only took 6 months! I never got any emails, calls, or any other communication from 110220volts.com about my inquiries or that they were sending me anything... just the UPS notice. So, I guess my issue is sorted, but because of all this, I'm bumping my 1-star review up to a 2-star review.

Delivered just as described on the site. The item arrived within the timeframe promised by the website.

Finding this product through our usual suppliers was a bit of a challenge, so it was great that 110220volts.com offered it at a really good price with delivery included.

Regrettably, it was missing some parts... Tanzania uses Type D and G plugs... 110220 only provided type G and left out a type D adapter/plug. Really oversold, and for the price, you’d think they’d get it right.

The outlet really came through for me. I was in need of a couple more two-prong adapters. But in the end, everything turned out just fine.

I got some solid advice from the tech guy, who turned out to be the owner himself. I had bought a Karcher handheld vacuum/squeegee meant for cleaning windows, mirrors, and other smooth surfaces like granite countertops. I ordered it from the UK, and naturally, it was made for use over there, not here in the US. After some digging online, I found out about the 110/220 voltage difference. Following the owner’s suggestion, I grabbed the right converter to change the US 120 voltage to UK 220 voltage. Now, I can charge the battery without a hitch. Both the voltage converter and the Karcher vacuum/squeegee are working like a charm.

I was really pleased with the awesome variety of international plugs and sockets, plus I didn’t have to purchase a ton of them when I just needed a couple. Also, I was quite happy with how fast they shipped it out.

I got exactly what I ordered, no issues at all, but I never received a confirmation email.

The gear did exactly what the rep claimed it would, got here quicker than expected, just like he mentioned. No tricks, no nonsense, everything as advertised.

This step up/step down transformer does the job perfectly. I really wish it came with an instruction sheet, though. Aside from that, it’s doing exactly what I required it for.

I purchased a couple of step-up transformers from this place. One of them came damaged. You’re stuck covering the return shipping, and they insist it must be through UPS. Since a transformer is quite hefty, it set me back $60 to send back something that was already broken. Totally unfair! They require you to send back everything that was included in the package, so we also returned the converter plug we had paid extra for. After a month of waiting since they got the return, we finally received our replacement. But guess what? They didn’t send back the converter plug. I reached out via email to find out when we’d get a replacement plug, but no response (that email was sent over a month ago).

I received a pricey and bulky converter in a damaged box, and the device just doesn’t function. They didn’t swap it out for me, so I ended up with a faulty piece of gear. They claimed that the shipping costs had to be covered by the tracking company, which isn’t liable. They sent a hefty converter in flimsy cardboard. Plus, they used the cheapest, most unreliable shipping services out there.

The timing from when I ordered to when it arrived was just right, but the item stopped functioning on the third day of our trip, and we couldn't use it.
